Ooooh that sucks. We have big globs of paint all over everything here. I don't think they used a brush, just tossed the open can wherever they needed touching up.
Ick. I realize that trends and such have changed over the years, but I seriously don't understand why someone would half-ass work in their own house. You'd think because they are living there, they would want it as nice as they could make it. Ugh.
Mea culpa. I painted over the wallpaper in my study when I first moved in because I had to get my books unpacked and put away. Had to hit the ground running in my new job as a solo pastor, and the existing wallpaper would have driven me crazy.
Now, if I'd known how easy it is to strip unpainted wallpaper, I would have taken another day or two and done it. But being a novice . . .
Happily, the blood of Christ covers even such heinous sins as this. :-D
